Academic Support & Learning Resources
The Academic Support Specialist works with students to develop their academic skills, both in general and in the context of specific courses or assignments. She also provides assistance with study skills such as reading, note taking, organization and time management. The Academic Support Specialist offers a range of academic skills workshops throughout the year and also provides individual conferences by appointment.
Support services for students with disabilities:
The LTRC works in conjuctions with the Office for Accessibility and Educational Opportunity to provide support for students with learning disabilities. If you are a student with a disability, you are afforded a spectrum of options. Your academic coach can assist you in discovering which of the LTRC's staff members or centers can best work with you to achieve your academic goals at Vassar.
